Do I need a GP referral?

No, you don't need a GP referral to see our dermatologists. You can book directly with us. However, if you have been referred by your GP, please bring any referral letters or test results to your appointment.

What happens during my first consultation?

During your first appointment, the dermatologist will take a detailed medical history, examine your skin, and discuss your concerns. They may use dermoscopy (a special magnifying device) to examine lesions more closely. You'll receive a diagnosis and personalised treatment plan.

How much does treatment cost?

The initial consultation is £95. Treatment costs vary depending on your condition and the recommended treatment plan. This will be discussed and agreed during your consultation. There are no hidden fees - you'll always know the cost before proceeding.

Can you remove moles?

Yes, we provide expert mole removal services. All moles are examined carefully before removal, and suspicious moles are sent for histological analysis. Our surgeons use techniques that minimise scarring.

How long before I see results from treatment?

This varies depending on the condition and treatment. Some conditions like acne may take 8-12 weeks to show significant improvement with medication. Other treatments like mole removal have immediate results. Your dermatologist will give you realistic expectations during your consultation.

Do you treat children?

Our services are currently available for patients aged 18 and over. For children's skin conditions, we recommend consulting with a paediatric dermatologist.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a list of any current medications, details of any previous treatments you've tried, and photos showing how your condition has changed over time (if applicable). If you've had any relevant tests or biopsies, please bring the results.
