Every excised lesion is sent for histological analysis — laboratory testing to check for abnormal cells — as a standard part of the service. This is not standard practice at most private cosmetic clinics and represents a meaningful safety advantage over non-medical aesthetic providers.

Mole removal starts from £295, with the exact price confirmed after assessment during your consultation.

Consultations cost £95. If you proceed with same-day treatment, you’ll only pay the removal fee. If not, the £95 is deducted from the cost of removal at your next visit.

No GP referral needed, you can self-refer online, by phone, or by email. Most patients are seen at our Waterloo clinic within 2–5 working days, with same-day consultation and treatment often available. If your condition requires NHS treatment, we’ll advise you at no extra charge.

Every clinical procedure at Canova Medical Liverpool is performed by or under the direct, in-person supervision of a GMC-registered doctor. Most minor procedures — mole, cyst, wart, and ganglion removal — use local anaesthetic only, so systemic recovery is minimal. Most patients return to desk work the same day or the following day.
